Welcome to Soldiers of Christ Bible Ministry!!
My Heavenly Father, in John 17:3, Jesus says, “Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.” Jesus was praying that people come to know You, our only means to eternal salvation. Today I choose to pray as Jesus did and ask that You help those who have yet to give their lives to Christ. May Your love and power reveal themselves to the nonbelievers, so that they will someday know You! Amen.

Matthew 24:14 NKJV
“And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.”
In Matthew 24, Jesus’ disciples ask Him for the signs of the “close of the age.” Matthew 24:14 is significant for the end times because it tells us that the gospel will be spread throughout the world “and then the end will come.” This will be one last chance for non-believers to hear, believe and repent.

New Living Translation
Parable of the Farmer Scattering Seed
4 One day Jesus told a story in the form of a parable to a large crowd that had gathered from many towns to hear him: 5 “A farmer went out to plant his seed. As he scattered it across his field, some seed fell on a footpath, where it was stepped on, and the birds ate it. 6 Other seed fell among rocks. It began to grow, but the plant soon wilted and died for lack of moisture. 7 Other seed fell among thorns that grew up with it and choked out the tender plants. 8 Still other seed fell on fertile soil. This seed grew and produced a crop that was a hundred times as much as had been planted!” When he had said this, he called out, “Anyone with ears to hear should listen and understand.”
9 His disciples asked him what this parable meant. 10 He replied, “You are permitted to understand the secrets[a] of the Kingdom of God. But I use parables to teach the others so that the Scriptures might be fulfilled:
‘When they look, they won’t really see.
When they hear, they won’t understand.

Planting Seeds
Verner Guthrie (Alabama, USA)
I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow. - 1 Corinthians 3:6 (NIV)
I love working in my garden. I am amazed that tiny seeds planted in the soil can sprout and grow into large plants that produce tasty vegetables and beautiful flowers. The vegetables become part of my meals, and the flowers brighten the day. Each time I work in my garden, I remember God’s wisdom in creating tiny seeds that will become tomatoes, beans, cucumbers, or peas. I work to prepare the soil and make sure I have a sunny spot to plant. Then I plant the seeds and water them when necessary. But I cannot make the plant grow; only God can bring growth from those tiny seeds.
In our spiritual life, we can plant seeds of faith in others by sharing what God has done for us — by doing a work of love in Jesus’ name or by sharing the good news of the gospel. We cannot finish the work of bringing others to Christ, just as we cannot make seeds grow and flourish in a garden. But we are co-laborers with God in planting and watering.
TODAY'S PRAYER
Our Father, may we plant the seeds of love that you will bring to fruition. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
